This Kathryn Rutherford Fine Art Spirit Painting reproduction giclee print depicts the artist, herself, drinking tea from her Great Grandmother's tea cup and looking out onto the waters of Lake Erie where sailboarders enjoy an afternoon of fun in the sun.
Kathryn's Great Grandfather, Edward Francis Ives was the last sailing captain on the Great Lakes and, while his wife, Anna Barbara Schmid-Ives, stands by his side in the shadows as ghostly figures, his sailing ship, The Maple Leaf, is seen sailing along the horizon just as it did in 1883.
All prints are shipped rolled in tubes and delivered with faux double matting exactly as shown but without the KR Watermark. Sizes are by outside measurements of the matting which allow for standard size framing.
