This Kathryn Rutherford Fine Art "Spirit Painting" depicts the Madison, Indiana, hydroplane boats, the current racing "Homestreet" and the transparent image of "Miss Madison" who won the hearts of many as the underdog boat that, against all odds, became the 1971 Gold Cup winner and whose story was depicted in the movie, "Madison".
A portion of all sales will be donated to Miss Madison Inc. in a fundraising effort to restore boats in their collection and establish a racing museum in Madison, Indiana.
All prints are shipped rolled in tubes and delivered with faux double matting exactly as shown but without the KR Watermark. Sizes are by outside measurements of the matting which allow for standard size framing.
